We’ll pick you up early from your hotel and take you to the train station in Ollantaytambo. From there, you’ll enjoy a scenic train ride to Km 104, the starting point of your trek.
After crossing the bridge over the Urubamba River, we begin our ascent towards Chachabamba, an impressive archaeological site, and continue hiking to Wiñay Wayna (“Forever Young”), one of the most beautiful Inca ruins along the trail.
Along the way, you’ll walk through lush cloud forests filled with orchids, waterfalls, and breathtaking mountain views.
By mid-afternoon, we’ll reach Inti Punku (Sun Gate) — your first glimpse of Machu Picchu, an unforgettable moment. From here, we descend to the citadel and take the bus to Aguas Calientes, where you’ll spend the night in a comfortable hotel.
Overnight in Aguas Calientes.
After an early breakfast, we take the first bus to Machu Picchu, entering the citadel before the crowds arrive.
Your professional guide will lead you through the most iconic temples, terraces, and sacred sites, sharing the history, spirituality, and secrets of this wonder of the world.
After your guided tour, you’ll have time to explore on your own or climb Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain (optional).
In the afternoon, we take the train back to Ollantaytambo and return to Cusco, arriving in the evening.
